Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Chemical Manufacturing Operator to support production, packaging, and material handling operations in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are manufactured according to established procedures while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Position Details Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00
PM Overtime:
Occasional overtime as needed

Contract Position Pre-Employment Requirements:
Drug Screen, Background Check, Physical, Employment Verification, and Education Verification Essential Responsibilities Perform manufacturing and production operations according to established procedures and protocols. Execute packaging operations while ensuring product quality and accuracy. Transport chemicals, raw materials, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, pumps, piping systems, and other material handling equipment. Monitor production processes to ensure quality and quantity standards are met. Complete production documentation, batch records, and compliance paperwork accurately. Communicate production status, equipment issues, and process deviations to supervisors. Maintain required logbooks and production records. Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards. Properly use, maintain, and store required personal protective equipment (PPE). Label in-process materials, containers, and equipment appropriately. Assist with equipment cleaning, production area housekeeping, and waste disposal activities. Identify and report unsafe conditions and participate in safety training programs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Forklift operating experience. 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, chemical processing, or related industrial experience. Ability to lift and move materials weighing more than 20 pounds. Basic computer skills and experience completing documentation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred 1-2 years of chemical manufacturing experience. Associate degree in a Life Science or related field. Experience handling chemicals and following chemical safety procedures. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Safe chemical handling practices Forklift operation Manufacturing and production processes Mechanical troubleshooting Written and verbal communication Computer proficiency Organizational and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and safety compliance Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing environment where exposure to chemicals may occur. Employees will be required to wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols. The role requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating industrial equipment throughout the workday.
