Fully Onsite Role Overview Looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with excellent pay and the chance to grow your skills? BEPC is seeking a dependable Chemical Packaging Operator to join our client's production team in Martin, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with chemical manufacturing, industrial production, packaging, forklift operation, or process manufacturing experience. In this role, you'll support the safe production and packaging of chemical products while working with modern manufacturing equipment, maintaining detailed production records, and ensuring products meet the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform packaging operations in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures and production protocols. Transport chemicals, raw materials, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, pumps, piping systems, and dollies. Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Complete batch records, production logs, and compliance documentation accurately. Verify product quality and quantities throughout the manufacturing process. Maintain accurate equipment status and communicate production updates to supervisors. Clean production equipment and work areas following production activities. Properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures. Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and protective suits as required. Label in-process equipment and containers according to company procedures. Follow all safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures. Participate in required safety training, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of manufacturing or industrial production experience , or an Associate degree in a Life Science field with 1-2 years of related experience . Forklift operating experience is required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic computer skills for production documentation and recordkeeping. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to safely handle chemicals while following established safety procedures. Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts. Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods. Preferred Experience 1-2 years of chemical manufacturing experience. Experience working in industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing environments. Experience operating pumps, piping systems, or material handling equipment. Experience maintaining batch records and production documentation. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and manufacturing safety practices.
