Grand Forest is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Industrial Cutter to join our manufacturing team in Summerville, SC. This is a hands-on production position that requires strong math and measuring skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow cutting specifications accurately . The Industrial Cutter plays an important role in ensuring materials are measured, prepared, and cut correctly before moving to our sewing department. We manufacture high-quality safety apparel, and accuracy is critical to our production process. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can follow detailed instructions, and works well as part of a team. What You'll Do Learn and perform industrial fabric cutting for production Accurately follow cutting instructions, measurements, markers, and specifications Use basic math and measurement skills throughout the cutting process Assist with preparing, spreading, and handling fabric and other materials Move cut materials from the cutting department to the sewing floor Maintain accurate inventory counts of fabric and raw materials Receive, organize, and properly store incoming materials Assist with loading and unloading deliveries Maintain an organized and clean cutting area Inspect work for accuracy and identify potential cutting or material issues Follow established production and safety procedures Assist with other cutting department responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For Strong math and measurement skills Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and specifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to organize and prioritize work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to adapt to changing production needs Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Preferred Experience 2+ years of fabric cutting, patternmaking, industrial cutting, or similar manufacturing experience is preferred Experience using precision measuring tools Experience with Gerber, Lectra, or Optitex cutting systems is a plus Previous manufacturing or textile/apparel production experience is a plus Previous forklift training or certification is a plus Benefits (upon conversion from staffing agency to permanent employee) Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) 401K with company match Medical, dental, vision, disability, life Potential for overtime' '
