Job Description
Job Summary Seeking a detail-oriented, skilled woodworker to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble raw lumber into high-quality finished products utilizing a mix of hand tools and heavy machinery. Qualifications and Experience Proficient with setup and operation of both manual hand tools and machinery such as table saws, routers, planers, sanders and end trimmers. High attention to detail, inspection of raw lumber for defects and grain matching in finished product Repair minor wood imperfections using wood putty, fillers, and adhesives. Sand surfaces seamlessly utilizing orbital palm sanders and belt sanders. Strong basic mathematics skills for reading tape measures and calculating dimensions. Ability to stand for 8 hours daily and lift materials weighing up to 40 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship a plus; experience with stain application and finishing equipment operation a plus. Reliable transportation, and must be able to work Monday-Friday, 6 am - 3 pm (one hour unpaid lunch). Occasional overtime depending on work load.
