Job Description

We are looking for a Production Worker to assist with the operation of the bailing machines, compressing and binding textile and/or paper-related product into bales in preparation for resale.
PAY:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB
Lifting 50 pounds maximum. Frequently unloading baler, walking, bending, and standing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Load material into compression chamber Operate baler machine switches to cause ram to compress materials Open compression chamber door and remove bales from machine Thread tie bands around bale and twist or clamp ends of band to tighten Assist with loading and unloading material from trailers as needed May act as material handler, moving materials from or near trucks, dock, and/or staging areas to specific locations within the facility Other such duties as may be required or assigned by supervisory staff
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school graduate/GED preferred, but not required Ability to be forklift certified preferred, but not required While the benefits are great, Goodwill's mission is really at the heart of all we do.
