Location :

Tea, SD (right off I-29)

Work Hours :

Night Shift

• 4:00pm to 2:45am Monday
• Thursday (43-45 hours per week)

Position Summary:

The Fabrication / Material Handler will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of metal products. Primary focus will be on parts production and preparing products for welding.

Responsibilities:

Part preparation

• cutting, grinding, drilling Operate metal fabrication machines and other equipment
• Laser Cutter, Brake Press, Bender, etc Assist in maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment to ensure optimal fuctionality and prevent downtown. Material Handling
• operate forklift safely bringing parts to welders or unloading and loading trucks.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Required Skills:

Strong attention to detail with ability to focus on a given task. Enthusiastic about learning new skills and technology. Effective time-management tactical approach to work prioritization. Commitment to continued development through the DeGeest Strong Standard Program. Read, speak, and write the English language. Good communication skills.
