Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Extrusion Group Leader for our rubber extrusion operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of operators and technicians to ensure the efficient production of high-quality extruded rubber products. Your expertise in manufacturing processes, machinery operation, and quality control will drive continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence within the extrusion department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence production workflows and uphold the highest standards in plastics manufacturing. Responsibilities/Skills Coordinate shift start-up to minimize scrap and maximize efficiency. Assist operators with troubleshooting production and equipment issues; initiate corrective actions. Provide and coordinate operator training programs. Fill in for operators during breaks, lunches, or absences as needed. Perform all duties of an extrusion operator in addition to supervisory tasks. Assist supervisor with Shopvue and any other computer activities as needed. Complete other assigned duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out all essential duties in a satisfactory manner. Management reserves the right to waive specific qualifications as necessary.

EDUCATION A

high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Two years of full-time experience is desirable, preferably in a manufacturing environment; alternatively, one to three months of related experience and/or training may be acceptable.
