An Extruder Machine Operator operates and maintains machines that extrude or draw out thermoplastic or metal materials into hoses, bars, tubes, rods, wires, or structures.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide all clean up in the grinding area, including waste disposals Empties trash from work area as required. Completes regrind report tags for each Gaylord of material processed. Assures proper identification of all reprocessed materials. Performs cable retrieval as needed. Breaks down empty gaylords as received from Extrusion. Processes all scrap cable-in-duct materials in area. Maintain interfacing with extrusion personnel to move materials in need of retrieval to grinding area. Actively participates in monthly/quarterly/annual cycle counts Report any unsafe conditions or broken equipment to the supervisor and/or management team member. Actively participates in all plant activities including training, safety, continuous improvement, etc. Perform any other production duties as trained and assigned.
