Job Description
About the role Anchor Fabrication, LLC is hiring a Sheet Metal Laser Machine Operator for our La Vergne, Tennessee facility. This is a 2nd shift position (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) focused on producing quality parts through precise laser cutting operations. What you'll do Set up and operate laser cutting machines to meet specifications and quality targets. Read and interpret blueprints; perform first- and last-piece inspections to verify conformance. Troubleshoot and correct minor equipment issues; escalate major issues to Maintenance. Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance activities. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Support production needs, which may include overtime or assignment to a different shift based on company needs. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Laser operation experience preferred; prior work in metal fabrication is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in blueprint reading and general math. Knowledge of GD&T.
