Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Assembler/Assembly Line Worker for an 11-month contract opportunity in La Vergne, TN. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, production, assembly, or packaging experience who enjoy hands-on work in a structured, team-oriented environment. As an Assembler/Assembly Line Worker, you will help fabricate, assemble, and package manufactured products while rotating through different tasks in the production process. This position offers steady weekday schedules, clear work procedures, and a safety-focused environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and consistency are valued. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate, and package manufactured products or product components by hand.
- Perform manual and light mechanical assembly tasks using required tools and equipment.
- Rotate through multiple production tasks to support team efficiency and workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
- Follow safety procedures, company policies, and production standards at all times.
- Support team goals by communicating effectively and completing assigned duties accurately. Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate:
$16 per hour.Job Type:
Contract/Temporary, 11-month assignment.Location:
La Vergne, TN.- 1st
Shift:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.- 2nd
Shift:
Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Required Qualifications and Skills- Assemble and package manufactured products in a production line environment.
- Rotate through assembly tasks and operate required assembly equipment.
- Maintain production quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Support team productivity by completing assigned assembly duties accurately and efficiently.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred based on role level.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to perform manual or light mechanical assembly-related functions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly.
- Ability to add and subtract 2-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and regularly sit, stand, or walk during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Manual dexterity to reach, handle items, work with fingers, and identify attributes of objects and materials.
- Ability to talk, hear, and use close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment as required. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with rotating production tasks in a team-based assembly environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and dependable attendance.
