Responsibilities Operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring precise cuts according to technical specifications and blueprints Interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately program and adjust machinery Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and safety checks on laser equipment and auxiliary tools such as press brakes, CNC mills, lathes, and plasma cutters Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures Collaborate with team members on machine setup, tooling adjustments, and troubleshooting to optimize production efficiency Conduct quality inspections during and after machining processes to ensure products meet strict quality standards in metal fabrication Requirements Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math accurately Familiarity with machining tools, tooling setup, measurement techniques, and safety standards in production environments Ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements Knowledge of safety protocol adherence when working with heavy machinery like cranes and forklifts. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision measurement for quality control
