Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position plays an integral part in meticulously assembling parts or components to exact specifications, contributing to the efficient production of high-quality finished products. By executing assembly tasks with precision and adhering to safety and quality standards, this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process and the delivery of products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Summary:
Entry-level position responsible for performing basic assembly operations following standardized work instructions under close supervision. The Level 1 Operator focuses on learning processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall production efficiency.Primary Responsibilities:
Assembly Operations:
o Perform basic assembly tasks following established work procedures, safety guidelines, and production schedules. Use standard hand tools, power tools safely to assemble parts or components. oAdhere to assigned production schedules and meet or exceed daily production targets.Quality and Inspection:
o Conduct visual inspections of parts and assemblies for accuracy, completeness, and defects. Identify and report defective materials or issues impacting product quality. oMaintain awareness of product standards and contribute to maintaining zero-defect culture. Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, increasing efficiency, and reducing waste.Safety and Housekeeping:
o Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE. Keep work areas organized, clean and free of hazards, oReport unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, or potential hazards to the supervisor.Communication and Teamwork:
o Collaborate with peers and supervisors to meet production targets. Ask questions and seek clarification to ensure quality and safety. oParticipate in daily team meetings and shift huddles.Learning and Development:
o Participate in training sessions to build foundational assembly and quality skills. Demonstrate willingness to learn new tasks and support continuous improvement efforts. oApply feedback from trainers and supervisors to improve individual performance. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred 12 years of experience with Assembly work preferred. Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. Regular and prompt attendance required.Capabilities Adaptability:
