Job Description

Job Summary The Packager is responsible for packaging finished products according to customer specifications and optimizing the productivity of the machine processing line. This role involves selecting and maintaining packaging materials, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation and safety standards.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Packaging:
Package finished products for storage and shipment, adhering to customer specifications
Material Management:
Select and maintain an adequate supply of packaging materials for processing and warehouse activities
Tool Maintenance:
Keep a working set of tools required for packaging tasks
Specification Adherence:
Read and follow both standard and special packaging specifications
Equipment Operation:
Safely and properly operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging equipment
Documentation:
Complete and inspect paperwork, tagging, and final packaging of finished products
Product Transfer:
Move finished products to storage or shipping areas as needed
Safety and Housekeeping:
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the work area according to company policies
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with processing crew members and company management
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Equipment Operation:
Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Reading and Understanding Instructions:
Ability to read and understand work orders and written instructions
Measurement:
Utilize measuring devices such as rulers, tapes, and calipers
Computer Skills:
Use computer systems to print tags and manage documentatio
Physical Requirements :
Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
