POSITION SUMMARY
The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the production and packaging of finished goods. Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency. Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA-regulated facility. Follow cGMP procedures. Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer specifications. Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling and accurately completing required documentation. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.) High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience. Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation for continuous learning.
