People link Staffin g , in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Murfreesboro, TN area, is seeking injection mold setup technicians to join their team! This is a facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Operations Trainer Pay:
DOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver structured, hands-on training aligned with DOJO curriculum and company standards to new hires. Demonstrate standard operating procedures and proper use of tools and materials. Train with intention while instructing new hires on proper techniques, safety protocols, and standard work. Observe and assess trainee performance by watching for accuracy, pace, and safe behavior. Offer consistent and constructive feedback and tips to help the new hire understand the operations. Create a supportive learning space that encourages questions and fosters a positive attitude toward continuous learning and adaptability. Ensure floor readiness by tracking progress of each hire using the DOJO evaluation tools. Sign off on skills when consistently demonstrated to standard.
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills including speaking to groups (10-30 count) Able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and new hires Dexterity and process knowledge Strong coaching and mentorship ability Attention to detail Proficient in standard assembly line processes Reliability and adaptability Highly organized with strong time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a trainer in a production or manufacturing environment. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment required. Previous experience training, coaching, mentoring, or onboarding employees is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of standard operating procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety practices. Experience using training materials, evaluations, or performance tracking tools is preferred. Ability to operate production equipment and perform assembly tasks at standard production rates. Basic computer skills for completing training documentation and tracking trainee progress. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Ability to frequently use hands and fingers for assembly tasks and operating tools or equipment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to bend, twist, reach, squat, kneel, and climb stairs as needed. Ability to maintain visual focus for inspecting products, identifying defects, and demonstrating processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety footwear. Why Peoplelink Staffing?
