Pay Rate:

Starts at $15.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. shift differential Position Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment while maintaining product quality, production flow, and accurate documentation. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments. Key Responsibilities Operate simple manufacturing machines following instructions and safety guidelines Assist with setting up machines and starting production runs Monitor product flow along conveyors to ensure consistent operation Make basic machine adjustments as directed Perform simple troubleshooting such as clearing jams, cleaning parts, and assisting with changeovers Conduct visual quality checks and report issues to a supervisor Complete basic production paperwork and recordkeeping Clean machines and maintain a neat and organized work area Follow all safety, health, and company policies Physical Requirements Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the shift Lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling as needed Stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time Safety Requirements Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses or goggles, hair and beard nets, gloves, and closed-toe shoes Qualifications Manufacturing experience preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Reliable attendance and willingness to learn Attention to safety, quality, and teamwork This position description reflects the current assignment of essential functions and is not meant to be all-inclusive.
