Job Description
Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Weekend Resident Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, attentive care to residents in a supportive and engaging environment. This energetic position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during weekend shifts. You will serve as a reliable presence, assisting with daily activities and fostering a warm, respectful community atmosphere. Paid positions ensure your valuable contributions are recognized and rewarded. Duties Provide personal care support, including assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor residents' health by observing for any changes or signs of distress. . Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, light cleaning, and maintaining a clean and safe environment within the residence. Document incidents, resident interactions, and care activities thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations. Requirements Prior experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining high standards of resident care. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
