Extrusion Technician Job Location:
Athens, TX 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Overtime Available on
Saturdays Pay:
$16.56-$26.00/Hour (

$22.00/Hour) Join a Leading Medical Manufacturing Team! Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking an Extrusion Technician for a growing medical device manufacturer in Athens, TX. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working with specialized equipment, precision measurements, and production processes that support the creation of life-changing medical devices. As an Extrusion Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion equipment while ensuring products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion equipment to produce high-quality medical components Perform equipment adjustments to maintain product specifications and process efficiency Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production instructions Use precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and quality Conduct routine inspections and quality checks throughout production Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve processes and product performance Complete production and quality documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards Meet production schedules and productivity goals while maintaining quality requirements
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Experience using precision measuring instruments Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational or technical training in Manufacturing, Machining, CNC, Industrial Technology, or a related field Experience with extrusion equipment or plastics manufacturing Knowledge of quality standards and production processes in a regulated manufacturing environment
