Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Navigate mfg computer system to access production schedule, operation status, work orders, materialavailability, process documentation including reading finished product drawings, and print accurateproduct documentation Understand machine theory of operation and proficiently set-up machine to specified operatingconditions. Control machine process parameters to produce product meeting or exceeding specification. Able to set-up, collect, and analyze statistical process control (SPC) data. Can identify materials and their characteristics, and validate conformance to specification. Can perform in-line, real-time visual and dimensional testing of finished product. Proficient in set-up, operation, and adjustment of auxiliary equipment and processes. Meets performance standards for attendance, attitude/behavior, safety, housekeeping, set-up, run rate,and scrap rate. Additional Duties & Responsibilities Fill out maintenance work orders needed to keep equipment running efficiently and safely. Help Plant Manager, Process Engineer, and/or employees in identifying causes for problems listed onCARs, NCMs, etc. Willing to cover for vacations of operators on other shifts (12 hour shift).
