Call your local RPM office or send us a text to review your qualifications for this position. RPM Staffing is looking for Spot Weld Machine Operators for a warehouse in Bonham, TX!

Shifts Available:

2nd: 3:30pm-2am (Some overtime may require longer end times and some Fridays)

Pay:

$17-19/hr DOE (Plus shift differential for 2nd) Spot weld operators , also known as resistance spot welders, use heat and pressure from an electric current to join metal sheets together. They use jigs and fixtures to perform spot welding operations to create assemblies.

Their responsibilities may include:

Setting up spot welds: Adjusting the heat, tip, and AC forge delay, and ensuring the setup is acceptable through visual and strength tests Selecting tools: Choosing the necessary tools for the application Performing spot welds: Following drawing specifications to perform spot welds Maintaining electrodes: Changing and dressing electrodes, and removing them from the machine after a certain number of welds to prevent mushrooming

Sanding:

Sanding the spot weld Using equipment: Using rigs and equipment to position work Quality assurance: Performing self-inspections to ensure the product is high quality Handling materials: Ensuring parts and materials are handled properly to avoid injury or damage.
