1625 W. Crosby Road, Carrollton, TX Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting embroidery machinery to produce high-quality customized products according to approved production orders and specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with commercial embroidery and sewing machines, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment. Embroidery digitizing experience is strongly preferred. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to prepare materials, set up machines, monitor production, troubleshoot basic machine issues, and inspect finished products for quality. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor commercial embroidery machines safely and efficiently. Prepare products for customization, including hooping materials and setting up machines. Select the appropriate hoop size based on the product and embroidery design. Gather and load the required threads for each embroidery design. Prepare backing materials for all operator stations. Load embroidery designs and program colors into embroidery machines. Read and accurately interpret embroidery proofs and production orders. Monitor machine operation and identify potential quality or equipment issues. Thread embroidery machines and make adjustments as needed. Adjust bobbin and thread tensions to achieve quality embroidery. Set up and configure machines for a variety of products, including: Bags Headcovers Towels Caps Other customized products Perform finishing and post-production tasks to ensure completed goods meet quality standards. Pre-inspect finished products for accuracy, appearance, and quality. Complete routine SAP transactions and production documentation. Maintain an organized and efficient work area. Follow written and verbal instructions, established procedures, and production requirements. Perform other duties related to embroidery production as assigned. Qualifications 1-2 years of hands-on experience operating embroidery and/or sewing machines. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with commercial embroidery equipment preferred. Embroidery digitizing experience strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret production orders, embroidery proofs, instructions, and procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently under general supervision. Ability to troubleshoot basic embroidery machine issues and make routine adjustments. Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work the scheduled shift.
