Carrollton, TX Join Our Team! We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will specialize in the production of cable products and support various manufacturing and processing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery setup, operation, and processing within a manufacturing environment. Experience with thermoplastic shaping, cable braiding, conductor assembly, or cable production is highly preferred. You will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and according to established specifications and quality standards. Initial training may require some travel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment. Process cable raw materials through various production operations according to construction sheets, setup sheets, and processing procedures. Perform cable extrusion and other related manufacturing processes. Monitor equipment and cable production to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and production documentation. Set up equipment for optimal functionality and production performance. Use testing equipment as required to verify product quality. Perform accurate measurements and calculations using basic math skills. Identify faulty machine operations, production issues, and defective materials. Troubleshoot basic equipment and production problems and communicate issues to appropriate personnel. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments. Learn and apply programming techniques and procedures related to machine operation. Meet production schedules while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of experience processing cable raw materials through manufacturing or production operations preferred. 3+ years of experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred. Proficiency operating production equipment and monitoring cable manufacturing processes. Strong familiarity with safety, environmental, and quality control standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, construction sheets, and setup instructions. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify faulty operations and defective materials. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to learn programming techniques related to machine operation. Solid mechanical aptitude and manufacturing background. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment. Must be available to work either day or night shifts .
