Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Set up and operate extrusion machines according to specifications
• Monitor the production process to ensure quality and efficiency
• Adjust machine settings as needed to meet production requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Any other job duties as needed for company performance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Extrusion Operator or similar role preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate machinery effectively
• Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
• Knowledge of machining techniques is beneficial
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
