Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator - Helper to join our manufacturing team. This role provides essential support in operating various industrial machinery, assisting skilled operators, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines. Perform routine inspections and measurements using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy. Support the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and other handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to facilitate accurate fabrication and assembly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including packaging finished products according to specifications. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of machinery to uphold quality standards and operational efficiency. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools and personal protective equipment. Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing or factory settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Basic understanding of mechanical blueprint reading, shop math, and technical drawings. Familiarity with industrial equipment such as CNC programming, CAM programming, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and stamping presses is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus. Knowledge of tooling, materials handling, and assembly line processes. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues. Commitment to safety standards in production environments and adherence to quality control procedures. Good communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly.
