Plating Assistant I Mayday Manufacturing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Abrasive blasting parts per customer specifications Clean parts for the stress relief process Placing parts in the Stress and Embrittlement ovens per the customer specifications Conversion coat plated parts per customer requirements Polishing non-plated surfaces on finished parts Stripping non-conforming parts per customer specification Count parts Fill out paperwork correctly for work done Move parts physically and in the ERP system to other locations Help platers as needed To meet the needs of our customers and colleagues, you are expected to be at your desk/station and ready to work at your designated start time.Competencies:
Ability to read and understand procedures and job travelers in English Ability to solve practical process or procedural problems/issues Detail oriented and have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced processing environmentPhysical Demands:
Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods Lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Full time, 3 Shifts 1st Shift- 7:00AM to 3:00PM (Monday thru Friday) 2nd Shift
- 3:00PM to 11:00PM (Monday thru Friday) 3rd Shift
- 11:00pm to 7:00AM (Sunday thru Thursday) Overtime may be required May be asked to work weekends with little to no notice
