Job Description

Job Summary The Paul Saw Operator must act according to Leedo's core values: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Our goal is making our customers successful, taking care of our team, pursuing excellence, and maximize our profits. The Paul Operator is responsible for Inspecting the quality of the incoming material, marking out defects found in frame stock to company standards, as well as data entry on daily material use. Preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Responsible for reviewing daily schedules as to sequences and wood species to be used. Responsible for visual inspection and grading of material stock to quality standard. Responsible for preventive maintenance action items performed daily at company standards. Responsible for complete work orders executed per schedule and in sequence. Responsible for leading by example in regards to attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas. Additional duties as assigned by Frames Supervisor. Education and/or Experience 3 to 5 years' experience working with a CNC router High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Must be able to perform data entry tasks both electronic and written Must be able to distinguish wood species, colors and finishes. Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape. Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties as needed Must have a basic ability for reading and writing Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions Factory environment, possibly including areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators as required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 30 pounds.
