Job Description

KP Staffing Garland is now hiring entry-level machine operators in Forney, TX! The Level 1 machine operator will operate and maintain production machinery to support efficient and accurate manufacturing processes. This role focuses on basic machine operation, quality checks, safety compliance, and production support. Pay $18 per hour Shift 1st shift: 6 a.m.
  • 6 p.m., Sunday
  • Wednesday OR Wednesday
  • Saturday, with rotating Wednesdays Duties Operate assigned machines according to standard operating procedures Load and unload materials into machines Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments as needed Perform basic quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Complete basic production documentation and logs Assist with routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication Use PDA to request and send materials to specific work areas Open boxes with materials, sort materials, and transfer them to designated areas Manage disposal of solid waste including boxes, plastic wrap, and foam Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment Basic understanding of machine operation and maintenance Ability to work in cold or hot environments Ability to read and interpret basic instructions and specifications Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic mechanical aptitude Good communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required Ability to walk or stand for an extended period Ability to lift, push, and move items weighing 40 pounds or more Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Garland for an in-person interview.
