Job Description
Job Summary KP Staffing Garland is now hiring Level II machine operators in Forney, TX! The Level II machine operator will operate and maintain complex production machinery, troubleshoot issues, and support production goals while following all safety and quality standards. This role also assists with training less experienced operators and contributing to process improvements. Pay $18.50 per hour Shift 2nd shift: 6 p.m. - 6 a.m., Monday - Thursday Duties Operate and set up assigned machines with minimal supervision according to standard operating procedures Identify and report machine malfunctions and the need for minor repairs Load and unload materials into machines Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications Train and mentor less experienced machine operators Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Complete and maintain accurate production documentation and logs Assist with routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication Participate in process improvement initiatives Recommend process improvements Perform other duties as assigned Responsibilities Train and mentor less experienced machine operators Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment operating complex machinery Knowledge of machine mechanics and troubleshooting Ability to work in different climates Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Ability to train and mentor others Strong attention to detail and quality Problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication, collaboration and teamwork skills Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to walk or stand for an extended period Must be able to lift, push, and move items weighing 40 pounds or more Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Garland for an in-person interview.
