Job Responsibilities Operate metal fabrication equipment, including plasma burn tables, plasma cutters, saws, press brakes, drills, CNC machines, and other metal-cutting machinery. Set up machinery according to production specifications. Load raw materials and ensure materials are properly aligned. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Monitor equipment and production processes to maintain efficiency. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality. Use calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Perform routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report mechanical or safety concerns. Document production output, material usage, and equipment performance. Follow all safety procedures and properly wear required personal protective equipment. Work closely with other production employees to meet daily and weekly production goals. Qualifications At least two years of experience operating metal fabrication machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges. CNC machine experience, including basic programming or adjustments, is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to understand safety guidelines and work instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the shift. Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, varying temperatures, and other common industrial conditions.
