POSITION SUMMARY

Removes flash and excess material from parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Remove flash and excess material from mold parting lines and product ID. Record count of parts for production record. Record elapsed work time on production record. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Entry level. Basic verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to follow safe work practices and instructions including care with sharp cutting tools. Familiar with hand tools such as snips, small knives, scissors, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Moderate physical effort required Prolonged sitting Regularly required to use hands. Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees. Lifting, pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds.
