Equipment Operator Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts and other powered material handling equipment (MHE) including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet riders. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse. Receive inbound shipments and transport products to designated storage locations. Pull, prepare, and stage orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy. Verify that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage. Perform pick/pack operations, labeling, sorting, wrapping, palletizing, and repackaging as needed. Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow all OSHA and company safety procedures. Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as assigned.

Equipment Operator Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months of verifiable forklift or material handling equipment experience within the last 36 months. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with company policies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory experience preferred. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

Equipment Operator Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights when necessary. Capable of standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive movements using hands and feet.

Equipment Operator Work Environment:

Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and seasonal conditions. Frequent use of powered industrial equipment. Exposure to noise, vibration, and warehouse traffic.
