1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-3:30 PM Job Summary We are looking for a Silicone Extrusion Operator to operate and monitor silicone extrusion equipment and ensure products meet quality and manufacturing specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate silicone extrusion equipment. Prepare silicone and hoses for extrusion. Monitor machines and product quality during production. Measure hose dimensions, including OD and wall thickness. Prepare and send test samples to the laboratory. Record production and quality data for traceability. Identify and report equipment or production issues. Work with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment problems. Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S practices . Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred. Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus. Basic computer and math skills. Basic knowledge of hand tools. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Must be willing to work mandatory and short-notice overtime . Preferred Experience Silicone, rubber, plastic, or tubing extrusion. Extruder setup and operation. Aerospace or metal manufacturing. Machine troubleshooting. Dimensional inspection and measurement. Lean Manufacturing / 5S.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): How many years of manufacturing or machine operation experience do you have?
