Rioplex Safety Council - McAllen, TX Rioplex Safety Council is currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Heavy Machine Operator Instructor to join our team in McAllen, Texas. We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, industry best practices, and workplace safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on knowledge and the ability to effectively train, mentor, and evaluate students or employees.

Responsibilities:

Conduct classroom and hands-on training for heavy equipment operation

Teach proper operation, maintenance, and safety procedures for heavy machinery

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards

Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback

Demonstrate safe and effective equipment handling techniques

Maintain training records, attendance, and course documentation

Assist in developing and updating training materials and curriculum

Promote a positive and professional learning environment

Requirements:

Extensive experience operating heavy equipment and machinery

Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and OSHA standards

Previous training or instructional experience preferred

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to work with students and employees of varying experience levels

Reliable, professional, and safety-focused mindset
