Wire Buncher Operator Pay:
$17.50/HR We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wire Buncher Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating bunching equipment to produce high-quality twisted cable while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate wire bunching equipment to combine sub-assemblies into twisted cable
- Load and unload payoffs and finished product using a hoist
- Load sub-assemblies according to lay-up charts
- Load tapes, binders, and fillers as required
- Configure equipment with proper dies, gear ratios, tensions, and payoff angles
- Operate main and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect products and samples to ensure quality compliance
- Maintain production documentation, logs, SPC forms, and move tickets
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work area
- Follow Kanban procedures and all safety practices
- Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding production needs
- Assist with training and cross-training employees
- Report any defective materials, unusual conditions, or equipment issues
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to analyze production and quality data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor operations
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and handling materials
- Use of required PPE at all times
- Work performed indoors in a controlled manufacturing environment
