Wire Buncher Operator Pay:
$17.50/HR We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wire Buncher Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating bunching equipment to produce high-quality twisted cable while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate wire bunching equipment to combine sub-assemblies into twisted cable
  • Load and unload payoffs and finished product using a hoist
  • Load sub-assemblies according to lay-up charts
  • Load tapes, binders, and fillers as required
  • Configure equipment with proper dies, gear ratios, tensions, and payoff angles
  • Operate main and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently
  • Inspect products and samples to ensure quality compliance
  • Maintain production documentation, logs, SPC forms, and move tickets
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work area
  • Follow Kanban procedures and all safety practices
  • Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding production needs
  • Assist with training and cross-training employees
  • Report any defective materials, unusual conditions, or equipment issues
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to analyze production and quality data
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor operations
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and handling materials
  • Use of required PPE at all times
  • Work performed indoors in a controlled manufacturing environment
