Temp We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Singles Operator to join our manufacturing team! Responsibilities- Set up and operate extrusion equipment to produce quality wire and cable products.
- Follow work orders and production specifications.
- Select and install proper tooling, screws, reels, and equipment settings.
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Complete production paperwork accurately.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and tooling.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Report equipment or product issues to the supervisor.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and other team members.
- Help identify ways to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Prepare equipment for the next shift.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- Manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to identify different product colors.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as part of a team.
