Machine Operator (Contract-to-Hire | 1st & 2nd Shift | Amazing Pay)

  • Saturday (4 day work week!) 5:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (12-hour shifts) 5:00 PM
  • 5:00 AM (12-hour shift) Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Lead Operator—the go-to expert for operating high-speed equipment in a fast-paced nicotine pouch manufacturing facility.
Drive seamless production, uphold safety, optimize machine performance, and train fellow operators. Perfect for seasoned pros with deep mechanical skills, equipment mastery, and a drive to lead through expertise! Key Responsibilities Operate and lead on advanced equipment, including Vertical Form Fill and Seal (VFFS) and automated pouching / canning lines ensuring peak efficiency. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on multiple equipment types, troubleshooting issues, performing setups, and conducting minor maintenance. Train and mentor operators on safe, effective equipment operation, sharing best practices for food/CPG production. Conduct quality checks and inspections to meet strict company and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory in work areas and warehouse, adhering to
GMP/FSMA
protocols. Enforce safety protocols, including PPE compliance and hazard identification, while collaborating to hit production targets. Requirements & Qualifications 3+ years as an operator in food manufacturing or CPG environments (hands-on experience required; advanced training provided). Proven experience operating filling / labeling equipment Deep knowledge of assembly lines, packaging machines, and mechanical troubleshooting. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and excel in an active production environment.
Training/leadership skills:
Ability to teach operators, resolve technical issues, and optimize run times.
