Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines with skill and safety awareness Conduct pre-operation inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist in site preparation by leveling ground, digging trenches, and moving materials efficiently Coordinate with team members to execute construction tasks smoothly and meet project deadlines Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational reports Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Support other construction activities as needed, including material handling and site cleanup Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machinery Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for operating large vehicles on-site and off-site transportation Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and perform basic repairs or coordinate repairs as needed Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery brands is a plus but not mandatory Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Physical stamina to handle demanding work conditions in various weather environments Embark on a career where your skills power progress!
