Position Summary The Embroidery Production Worker is responsible for operating embroidery equipment, preparing garments and materials, monitoring production quality, and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate commercial embroidery machines according to production schedules. Load and prepare garments, hats, bags, and other products for embroidery. Install and change embroidery threads, needles, and machine settings as needed. Review work orders and verify design specifications before production begins. Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and proper stitch formation. Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, thread color, placement, and overall appearance. Trim excess threads and prepare completed items for packaging or shipping. Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major equipment concerns to management. Maintain accurate production records and inventory of supplies. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Assist with other production tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Basic computer skills. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Previous embroidery, sewing, screen printing, or textile production experience. Experience operating commercial embroidery equipment such as Tajima, Barudan, Brother, or similar machines. Knowledge of embroidery design software and production processes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational skills and time management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic. Working Conditions Manufacturing or production environment. Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements. Exposure to production equipment and machinery noise. Overtime may be required during peak production periods. Physical Requirements Stand and move throughout the workday. Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Use hands and fingers continuously for machine operation and product handling. Visual ability to inspect detailed embroidery work and identify defects.
