The ideal candidate will have experience in garment construction and sewing, with a strong understanding of sewing machines and their operation. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality garments while maintaining safety and operational standards. Duties Operate and maintain various types of sewing machines to produce garments according to specifications. Set up machines for different sewing tasks, ensuring proper threading and adjustments are made for optimal performance. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying any defects or inconsistencies. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors. Assist in the organization of the warehouse, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available for production needs. Follow all company policies and procedures related to manufacturing processes. Qualifications Proven experience in garment construction and sewing is preferred. Familiarity with various types of sewing machines and their operation is essential. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues as they arise.
