$16-17 an hour Adecco is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our production team in Sealy, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for operating presses and related equipment to produce high-quality stamped metal parts according to company specifications. You will also assist with machine setup, inspection, troubleshooting, and process monitoring to ensure consistent and efficient output.
Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare stamping presses by installing dies, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper alignment and clearance. Load metal sheets or coils into the stamping machine; monitor material feed to maintain continuous, accurate production. Operate stamping equipment to perform punching, cutting, forming, and other metal fabrication processes per work orders. Inspect stamped parts for quality using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) and visual inspection; ensure parts meet dimensional and cosmetic standards. Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain accuracy and resolve minor production issues. Identify and troubleshoot common mechanical issues (e.g., misfeeds, jams, die wear) and perform basic maintenance or repairs as needed. Accurately record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, scrap, and inspection results. Follow all workplace safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, etc.). Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to address equipment issues and implement improvements
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment. Requires standing for long periods (8 to 12-hour shifts), as well as frequent bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, and climbing . Regular exposure to repetitive hand and arm movements , vibration, and manual handling of materials and tools. Must be comfortable working around loud machinery, moving parts, metal shavings, oil, and grease , and temperature-variable environments (hot/cold). Must be able to manually feed materials , remove finished parts, and operate mechanical and hydraulic equipment safely. Ability to maintain focus and stamina in a fast-paced production environment. You must always wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in the production facility (e.g., steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hat).
Pay Details:
