Job Description
Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Machine Operator for a manufacturing plant in Sealy, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $22/hr. In this role, you will set up and operate production and processing machinery, make adjustments to keep equipment running correctly, and inspect finished products to make sure they meet quality standards. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable production team.

Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Set up and operate production and processing machinery according to work orders and production specifications. Monitor equipment during production to catch issues early and keep output running safely and on schedule. Perform pre-operation inspections and routine equipment checks before each shift or run. Troubleshoot and correct routine equipment malfunctions; perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs. Maintain accurate production and equipment records throughout the shift. Keep the machine area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Minimum Requirements 1+ year of machine operator experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting and making independent adjustments to production machinery. Familiarity with quality inspection processes and product conformance standards. Experience performing basic preventive maintenance or minor machine repairs. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications, blueprints, or technical work orders. Experience working alongside maintenance and quality teams in a production environment. Ability to read and follow production instructions, work orders, and equipment specifications. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to safely operate and adjust production equipment. Steel toe boots required (employee-provided). Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by the role.
