Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator III to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art laser cutting machinery, managing raw material inventory, and performing key maintenance tasks. Operation:
Set up and run advanced flat sheet and tube cutting machinery.Program:
Perform basic programming for parts as needed.Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on machinery.Quality Assurance:
Understand and adjust machine parameters to maintain a consistent level of qualityMaterial Handling & Inventory Management:
Transaction Logging:
Accurately record all material usage to maintain real-time inventory.Material Handling:
Safely load, unload, and stage metals, plate stock, and tubing using forklifts, overhead cranes, or sheet loaders.Sorting & Kitting:
Efficiently sort processed parts, package components, and distribute finished kits to down-stream departments or shipping areas.Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
3+ years of professional machine operation experience within a sheet metal, tube, or structural fabrication environmentSoftware Exposure:
Familiarity with modern nesting and machine programming software is a major plus.Blueprint Reading:
Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, flat patterns, and engineering specs.Material Knowledge:
Solid understanding of metal types, gauges, tube profiles, and material specificationsEquipment Handling:
Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and overhead cranes safely.Technical Precision:
Meticulous attention to detail regarding dimensions, tolerances, and hardware schedules.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work safely around industrial machinery.Machine-Specific Exposure:
