Job Description

2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (7am-3pm) for a few weeks, prior to moving to 2nd Shift Overtime / Weekends required, based on business needs Primary Function Efficiently operate and support a variety of production and assembly equipment across multiple departments to meet quality, safety, and output goals. This role requires flexibility, cross‑training, and the ability to move between workstations based on daily production needs. Machines & Equipment Used Automated assembly equipment General production machinery Assembly tools and fixtures SPC gauges and measurement tools Leak testing equipment Reusable packaging and material‑handling systems Typical Duties Start up and operate assembly/production machines to ensure consistent, high‑quality output Load components, monitor performance, and make minor adjustments as needed Remove defective parts and maintain quality standards through visual and dimensional checks Perform SPC charting, collect data, and respond appropriately to trends or machine faults Manage and replenish component inventory during production Complete routine machine care and basic maintenance tasks Operate leak testers and support cross‑trained tasks across all assembly areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Operate multiple machines simultaneously to meet production and customer requirements Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and follow‑up actions clearly and accurately Support order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping processes when needed Position Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-12 hours depending on assignment) Physical mobility to move around production areas; ability to lift 35 lbs. individually and maneuver heavier weight with assistance Familiarity with computer‑controlled or automated assembly equipment Ability to interpret SPC data and apply analytical problem‑solving methods Basic understanding of mechanical alignment, pneumatics, or PLC‑based systems Ability to function as both an operator and a support technician when needed Strong self‑direction and ability to manage multiple machines at once Ability to inspect parts while operating or assembling Willingness to cross‑train and support multiple departments and workstations Join us in delivering high-quality products through innovative manufacturing techniques!
