We are seeking a Document Assembly Clerk This is an on-site role in Chesapeake, VA. This entry-level position will work in our Production Center. Under general supervision, the Document Assembler is required to perform many functions, including but not limited to, assembling copy work, operating a variety of publishing equipment, operating computers, sorting, and collating paper and working efficiently in a team environment.
General duties and responsibilities include:
Assemble documents including bookbinding, collating, hole drilling, and packaging for shipment (using copy, laminating, and hole drilling machines). Produce copies of original materials using photocopy and plotter equipment. Quality check all completed work and maintain log of jobs started and completed. Organize, package, and deliver documents for shipping.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School degree OR trade/industrial/correspondence school graduate.
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
Reaching:
Operating copier, paper sorting & binding.
Standing:
Book/bind production.
Sitting:
Computer Operator - Word/CAD processing. Must be proficient in Windows based Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suites to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. TRAVEL- No
