Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Shop Helper to join our dynamic production team. In this vital role, you will support the manufacturing process by assisting with assembly, material handling, and equipment operation to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute significantly to maintaining high safety standards and quality output in our manufacturing facility. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of daily operations. Responsibilities Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including power tools and hand tools. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy components safely following established safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards in production environments. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Requirements Experience operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and warehouse equipment is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely on a regular basis. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team or independently as needed. Cleaning materials as needed by grinding, sanding, washing , ect. Must drive a good driving record and have held for a minimum for 3 years to make deliveries needed in company truck
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
