Position Overview

PDS Tech is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating conventional and CNC production equipment while producing quality parts safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, understands CNC equipment and controls, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Your Responsibilities

Operate conventional and CNC production machines, including:

Winders

Milling machines

Drill presses

Broaches

Lathes

Saws

Grinders

Welders

Other production machinery as required

Perform sanding, deburring, and other finishing operations as needed.

Set up and operate equipment toplete machining operations according to specifications.

Understand material hardness and how it impacts machining processes.

Select and properly use cutting tools.

Understand appropriate speeds and feeds for machining operations.

Understand coolant requirements and proper machining techniques.

Inspect work to ensure parts meet quality requirements.

Follow all safety procedures andpany policies.

Maintain a clean,anized, and safe work area.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production, quality, and equipment concerns.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar machining role.

Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.

Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.

Ability to read and follow machining specifications and work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

2-4 years of machining experience.

Welding knowledge or experience.

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with both conventional and CNC machining equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Pay Details:

$19.00 per hour
