Machine Operator Lyneer Staffing Solutions - 3.3 Richmond, VA Job Details Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Record keeping Machine operation Basic math High school diploma or GED Production records Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Our client is currently seeking or in need of experienced Ink Machine Operators in Richmond, VA. This position supports high-speed printing operations by mixing, labeling, and staging inks to exact specifications while assisting with press setup and changeovers. You'll work closely with press teams to keep production on pace, verify color accuracy, and document lot numbers for full traceability.
The Day-to-Day:
Prepare, mix, and measure inks and coatings according to production tickets and color standards. Assist with press setup, washups, and changeovers to minimize downtime. Stage materials, load/unload components, and maintain accurate labels and inventory logs. Follow 5S housekeeping, GMP, and lockout/tagout practices to maintain a safe work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of consistent machine operator experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or a related setting. Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn press and ink systems quickly. Strong attention to detail, basic math proficiency for measurements, and solid recordkeeping.
Pay Rate:
$17.00 to $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 3:00
AM Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
