Onsite; other days and hours as needed Location 272 Patton Farm Road Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477 Job Summary Determines need for materials based on production schedule and availability Opens containers and replenishes line supplies Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials used on daily production sheet Enters data into computer and prints labels using applicable data Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist and cleans work area, machines and equipment to assist machine operators Makes simple adjustments to equipment to accept product or manufacturing materials Operates pallet jack to assist in loading or moving materials and products Assists with cleaning and sanitizing of equipment Performs disassembly and assembly of product tables and line equipment Perform all other duties as needed Required Qualifications Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors) Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a cohesive, cross-functional team environment Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Basic math skills Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting Demonstrated ability to promote and implement continuous process improvement and LEAN principles Good attention to detail Willing to cross train and cover other positions as needed Willing to acquire an electric pallet jack license Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operator experience Accurate measurement and conversion skills Good mechanical skills and/or previous technical training Troubleshooting ability Benefits Competitive weekly pay Profit-sharing cash bonus program 401(k) with matching contributions Paid Time Off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) Medical insurance, including health, dental, vision and prescription drug plan Supplemental plans, including life insurance Fully-paid parental leave Health Center and Pharmacy Mental wellness counseling (on-site in TN, virtual elsewhere) Tuition reimbursement Credit Union Exercise and recreation facility Wellness programs with incentives Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Short-term and long-term disability (company-paid) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
