CEO Role Description:

The Art Print and Cut Technician is responsible for producing high-quality printed and cut art pieces, ensuring precise execution of designs. This role involves operating and maintaining printing and cutting equipment, managing digital files and collaborating with the creative team to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain large format printers, cutting machines and other relevant equipment.
• Prepare and manage digital files for printing and cutting, ensuring accurate color matching and design fidelity.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all printed and cut pieces meet established standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing and cutting equipment as they arise.
• Maintain inventory of printing and cutting supplies and order materials as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate shipping tasks to meet daily deadlines, including packaging, labeling and preparing orders for shipment.

Virginia Beach Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in printing technology is preferred.
• Experience operating large format printers, cutting machines and related equipment.
• Experience in shipping and meeting daily deadlines is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Proficiency in using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and print management software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds).

Work Environment:

• This position involves working in a print production environment, which may include exposure to printing chemicals and loud noises from machinery.
