Ascend Staffing is hiring an Experienced Mill Manufacturing Production Worker for a manufacturing facility in Chehalis, WA . If you've worked in a lumber mill, plywood mill, sawmill, wood products facility, or other industrial manufacturing environment, this could be a great opportunity to use your experience in a stable Monday-Friday position. We're looking for candidates with a strong work history, reliable attendance, and previous mill experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operate production machinery and mill equipment Feed raw materials into production machinery Monitor equipment for proper operation Identify and report equipment issues Perform basic troubleshooting Inspect products for quality and accuracy Perform basic quality-control checks Assemble, package, and label finished products Load and unload materials and finished products Perform routine cleaning of machinery and work areas Complete basic production paperwork and reports Monitor production output Follow production instructions and specifications Assist coworkers with production tasks Follow all mill safety procedures Wear required PPE at all times Maintain a clean and safe production area

•Friday Weekends OFF Full-Time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS MILL EXPERIENCE IS

Preferred Previous mill experience required Previous industrial production experience Lumber, plywood, sawmill, wood products, or manufacturing experience preferred Strong and consistent work history preferred Job longevity is important Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work as part of a production team Good communication skills Basic math skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Physical ability to perform repetitive production work Ability to work around machinery and industrial equipment Must pass pre-employment drug screen Must be authorized to work in the United States
